About ORAIPL

We started our business of manufacturing and selling sodium hypochlorite, used for water disinfection. Hypochlorite being one of the by-product of chlorine, we realized that it was not environmentally friendly. Our constant search for a better and environment friendly disinfectant ended with Ozone. In the year 1998, a propriety firm “M/s Ozone India” was established. The activities carried out by Ozone India were to manufacture state of the art, cost effective ozone generators of various tailor made capacities. Commitment, hardwork and dedication towards the product and zeal to make the customer aware of the advantages and benefits of Ozonisation has been and continue to be the key to our success. Within a short period of four years we were an established company having supplied our Ozonisation systems to number of customers for applications like drinking water treatment, swimming pool ozonisation, de-odourisation of air, etc.

Due to the consistent growth of the company, in the year 2002 Ozone India became a private limited company and thus ORAIPL (Ozone Research and Applications India Private Limited) was born.

Today's ORAIPL is much more than the sum of our historical products and legacy. In recent years, the company has developed into a highly cost effective and quality business whose products and services are appreciated in every industrial activity in which society engages.

ORAIPL has been involved in the nation’s awareness for the use of ozone for the disinfection of water and also its vast applications in wastewater treatment, and for oxidation in processes. In fact, ORAIPL’s equipment has been the first of its kind to treat and disinfect the holy water at the Golden Temple Sarovar, Amritsar. ORAIPL is the first company in India who is executing the project for 30,000-m3/hr recirculating water capacity cooling tower ozonisation at the Maharashtra State Power Generation Co., at Khaperkheda, Nagpur, India.

While the company continues to provide Ozone equipment and services, we also undertake the Operation and Maintenance Contracts for a particular period as desired by our clients. There is a special thrust on the after sales services and we make it a point to attend to the customer complaint within 24 hours of notice.

Another notable feature of ORAIPL is its endurance. In 2005, ORAIPL is proud to celebrate its major breakthrough in the cooling tower ozonisation field with the orders for supplying 6kg/hr, 8kg/hr and 12-kg/hr capacity of Ozonisation systems. Over the past 8 years, ORAIPL products have helped industries and people improve the way they operate while enhancing the quality of life for millions of people in India. - Dr. V.P.Thergaonkar – more than 35 years of experience in the field of environment and also holds a patent for Fluoride removal technique. Worked as Ex.Asstt.Director—National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur. He is a W.H.O consultant.

- Mr. Ranjit Singh (M.Sc – Organic Chemistry) – has to his credit the honour of working as Whole Time Director, Technical Director for KDL Pharmaceuticals and Krebbs Biochemical’s ltd. He has more than 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industries. He has also worked in countries like Russia and Italy.
