Electrical / Mechanical Purchase Engineer
Ozone Research & Applications (India) Pvt. Ltd, known as ORAIPL, is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company, We manufacture Ozone Generators, Ozonation systems, Effluent Treatment Solutions, Waste water Treatment Solutions, Food & Beverage Disinfection systems, Green Hydrogen Systems, Automatic Air vent valves and other accessories for ozone systems.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Purchase Engineer to manage the procurement of electrical components, systems, and services for our projects or manufacturing units. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical materials and vendors, excellent negotiation skills, and proven experience in handling the procurement lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Electrical Fittings Procurement
- Purchase of electrical items such as: Capacitors, Switches, Lux / Lighting Fixtures, MCBs, Electrical Panels (Machine-made), Electrical Cables, Cable Glands & Accessories
- Vendor identification and technical comparison of electrical materials.
- Pipe Fittings & Mechanical Materials
- Procurement of mechanical and piping materials including: Pipes, Elbows, Flanges, Nuts & Bolts, Valves
- Ensuring quality standards and specification compliance.
- Electrical Equipment Purchase
- Handling procurement of major electrical equipment: Chillers, Compressors, Transformers, Pumps.
- Preparing techno-commercial comparisons and negotiation with suppliers.
- Local Purchase Management
- Handling urgent and local purchases of basic site requirements.
- Maintaining vendor network for immediate material availability.
- Coordination with site and store departments.
- Office Administration Procurement
- Purchase of office-related materials: Printers, Desktop PCs & Laptops, Office Furniture, Stationery Items
Additional Responsibilities
- Vendor development.
- Preparing Purchase Orders (PO).
- Rate negotiation & cost optimization.
- Follow-up for delivery schedules.
- Coordination with Accounts, Stores, and Project Teams.
- Maintaining purchase records and documentation.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of ERP / Purchase Software preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical & mechanical materials.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good communication & coordination ability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial/project purchase.
- Ability to handle multiple categories of procurement.
- Immediate joining preferred.
Experience Required: 2–6 Years (Preferred)
Qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
